Katherine Pugliese, known as Kat, is a Registered Massage Therapist who brings a calm, compassionate, and holistic approach to massage therapy. With a warm, down-to-earth personality, Kat creates a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable, supported, and at ease throughout their treatments.
Kat takes a whole-person approach to wellness, looking beyond symptoms to better understand each individual’s needs. Her treatments focus on relieving muscle tension, improving mobility, and helping patients move and function with greater ease. She has a particular interest in myofascial release, trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, and buccal and facial lymphatic techniques, including treatments that address jaw tension and temporomandibular joint (TMJ) concerns.
With a strong belief in the connection between movement and overall well-being, Kat is passionate about helping people develop a deeper understanding of their bodies. Before becoming a Registered Massage Therapist, she worked as a yoga instructor and completed more than 500 hours of yoga training. She is also a certified mat and reformer Pilates instructor and has been teaching Pilates for the past two years.
Her extensive background in yoga, Pilates, stretching, and movement continues to influence her approach to massage therapy. She enjoys incorporating movement education and personalized stretching recommendations to help patients maintain the benefits of treatment between appointments.
Kat is committed to continuing education and exploring complementary approaches to health and wellness. Her additional training includes Reiki Level 1, reflecting her interest in relaxation, mindfulness, and whole-person care.
Outside the clinic, Kat is a musician and singer-songwriter who enjoys painting, cooking, dancing, yoga, spending time in nature, and connecting with friends and family.
Kat’s philosophy is centred on helping patients feel more connected to their bodies through thoughtful, individualized care that supports physical comfort, mobility, and overall well-being.
