Eric Ginter, Physiotherapist

Physiotherapist | Tillicum – Saanich

Eric Ginter is an experienced physiotherapist at Equilibrium Therapeutics who is passionate about helping people overcome injuries, manage persistent pain, and return to the activities they love. From individuals recovering from everyday injuries to competitive athletes working toward peak performance, Eric believes in the power of movement and exercise as essential components of recovery and long-term health.

Eric has a particular interest in helping patients with chronic or recurring conditions, especially those who have tried multiple treatments without finding lasting relief. He enjoys investigating complex problems, looking beyond the immediate symptoms, and developing individualized treatment strategies that address each patient’s unique circumstances.

Taking a holistic, hands-on approach, Eric considers the whole person, including lifestyle, activity levels, previous injuries, and medical history. His treatments combine manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, patient education, and advanced clinical techniques to help improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore function.

Eric has pursued additional training in Neurokinetic Therapy®, vestibular rehabilitation, concussion management, and temporomandibular joint disorders (TMJD), including jaw pain and dysfunction. His training in Medical Acupuncture, Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS), and myoActivation® allows him to draw on a range of needling techniques when clinically appropriate.

An important part of Eric’s practice is spinal decompression therapy using the Chattanooga Triton DTS system, a specialized traction table designed for controlled, non-surgical spinal traction. The system allows Eric to tailor treatment to individual patient needs, including certain neck and lower back conditions. When appropriate, he combines spinal decompression with hands-on physiotherapy, therapeutic exercise, and rehabilitation strategies to support recovery, mobility, and function.

His experience extends to workplace injuries and return-to-work rehabilitation, where he helps patients rebuild strength, restore function, and regain confidence as they return to their daily activities and employment.

Eric believes that successful physiotherapy is about more than relieving symptoms. It’s about understanding why a problem persists, finding practical solutions, and giving patients the tools to maintain their progress.

Originally from Northern British Columbia, Eric developed a love for Vancouver Island while studying at the University of Victoria. Outside the clinic, he enjoys spending time at the beach, surfing in Tofino, working out at the gym, and exploring local trails with his wife, Jacqueline, and their three children.
