Anneke Hylkema, Registered Massage Therapist
Anneke is a recent graduate of the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in April 2022 and is excited to begin her career as a massage therapist in Victoria BC with Equilibrium.
Born and raised on Vancouver Island, Anneke moved to Victoria in 2013 to attend the University of Victoria, where she fell in love with this beautiful city. She has a passion for music, and can often be found playing her harp or singing loudly in the car. Anneke has an interest in working with people managing chronic conditions, and is excited to continue learning about pain science. Providing relaxation massage therapy treatments as a way to ground the mind and body is very important.
Anneke uses techniques such as General Swedish Massage, Myofascial Release, and Active Release. She looks forward to continuing to learn new modalities in the future.
