Looking for Rolfing in Victoria? At Equilibrium Therapeutics Eagle Creek, that work is done by Xian Wang — a Registered Massage Therapist and Certified Rolfer®. If a standard relaxation massage has never quite reached the root of your tension, Xian’s approach is built for exactly that.
Rolfing® Structural Integration is a hands-on, structural approach to bodywork. Rather than working a single
sore muscle, Xian works with the fascia — the connective tissue that wraps and links everything in your body
— using slow, sustained pressure, myofascial release, and pin-and-stretch techniques to release the long-held
patterns behind your tension and pain, so you move more easily and feel more comfortable in your body.
A session with Xian is active and hands-on, not a passive relaxation massage. You take part — reaching,
moving, and using your own body awareness while he works — which is part of how the changes hold. Come
as you’re comfortable: you can wear athletic clothing so Xian works through it, or undress to your comfort and
be draped throughout, just like a regular massage — whichever you prefer. Either way, expect minimal lotion
and focused, hands-on work.
Over time, people notice better posture and coordination, easier movement, greater body awareness, and
more resilience to everyday physical stress.
Because Xian is a Registered Massage Therapist, his sessions are booked and billed as massage therapy — so
they work with your extended health coverage just like any other RMT visit at Equilibrium.
